Ms. Berens is originally from South Dakota. She graduated from Augustana University in 2014, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She went on to Gonzaga University School of law, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017. During law school, Ms. Berens worked as a legal intern at the Spokane City Prosecutor’s office, Spokane Community Court, and at the Gonzaga University Legal Assistance Elder Law Clinic. Additionally, she interned for the Honorable Raymond F. Clary in Spokane Superior Court, and served as an editor for the Gonzaga Law Review.
