Eli Moreno-Sanchez has practiced workers’ compensation law for the majority of his legal career. He also represented employees in wage and hour claims. He has represented employees injured on the job throughout the State of California and has obtained favorable decisions from the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board where insurance companies deny any responsibility for work injuries and where insurance companies try to minimize the amount of benefits for injured workers.

Before joining Ratto Law Firm, P.C., in July 2020, Eli worked for large workers’ compensation law firms in Sacramento and Los Angeles. He brings experience working on complex work-related injuries, including injuries caused by a third party arising from auto accidents, construction accidents, and warehouse accidents. He also has experience handling injuries sustained by workers performing constant and repetitive motions in the performance of their job duties.

Eli graduated from Occidental College in 2004. After college, he worked for a non-profit legal aid organization assisting tenants facing eviction and other housing issues. Eli earned his law degree in 2010 from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He is a native of Los Angeles and is fluent in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, running, and spending time with family.
