Joseph L. Cagigas, Jr.

Joseph Cagigas is a native of Chula Vista, California. He earned his B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University before receiving his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2016.

While in law school, Joseph volunteered with the Eviction Defense Collaborative and Legal Aid San Diego, assisting low-income tenants in protecting their housing rights.

Before joining the Ratto Law Firm, Joseph focused his practice on personal injury law, representing clients who suffered serious injuries as a result of the negligence of others. A significant portion of his practice involved car, bicycle, motorcycle, and pedestrian accidents, as well as premises liability claims.

Joseph takes a personal and attentive approach to every case, taking the time to understand his clients’ circumstances and the impact their injuries have had on their lives. He is committed to providing thoughtful guidance and strong advocacy while pursuing the full and fair compensation his clients deserve.
